JC Ebook Campaign
Jeff Clark is the editor of several investment advisories focused on profiting from options in any market environment. This campaign drove traffic via YouTube ads to a landing page designed to capture email leads in exchange for a free ebook.
Traffic arrived from YouTube ads — users who had already watched Jeff Clark's trading strategy video and were primed to engage. The challenge was to build a landing page that let warm traffic take action as fast as possible, with zero friction between intention and conversion.
I designed a short, focused page that removed every distraction and drove toward a single conversion action. No navigation, no competing CTAs, no noise. The initial variant went live and converted at 40.34% — already strong for the niche.
Rather than call it done, I ran a split test against the same layout using a different CTA button colour. The original used green. I tested orange.
The orange variant converted at 61.23% — a 52% lift over an already high-converting control. One colour change on one button. This is why you test rather than assume.
